I graduated from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai Sophia Institute, where I earned a Master's degree in Acupuncture. I also hold a Master's degree in education from Johns Hopkins University. My undergraduate studies earned me a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Loyola University (formerly Loyola College). I have over 25 years of experience in the medical field and over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages.
I am a member of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) and I have completed training and hold certification as an Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist. This training is a standardized auricular (ear acupuncture) protocol that can be used to treat symptoms of addiction (cravings and withdrawal), specifically with alcohol dependency, substance abuse, smoking and overeating.
I am licensed to practice acupuncture in the state of Maryland and board certified by NCCAOM. I am a member of the American Acupuncture Council and Maryland Acupuncture Society.
Committed to partnering with you to maintain wellness for balance & harmony!
